How to get from Kaunas airport to the Vilnius

This summer, from 14 July (at 00:00) to 17 August (at 23:59), Vilnius Airport (VNO) will be closed for runway reconstruction. During this time, the majority of regular flights to Vilnius will be redirected to Kaunas Airport (KUN), which is only one hour away from Vilnius and has convenient public transport connections to Vilnius city center.

Shuttle Services by Ollex

The Ollex airport shuttle service offers multiple trips between Vilnius and Kaunas Airports every day (every 30 minutes). Shuttle timetables are synchronised with flight arrivals and departures. Visit the Ollex website to purchase tickets and consult the daily timetables. A one-way ticket costs €10 and the trip takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. The buses arrive the bus stop next to the McDonald’s located by the Vilnius Bus Station. Travellers are advised to purchase their shuttle tickets in advance (to guarantee their seats on the bus).
